Halloween Safety Tips

Below are our tips for staying safe this Halloween.

  • Always carry a torch
  • Walk in numbers
  • Be aware of dogs not locked up
  • Respect people’s property and personal space
  • Never enter someone’s house whilst waiting for a trick or treat
  • If home alone don’t open your door to strangers, look out first
  • Try and make your Halloween costume out of reflective material to stand out in the dark
  • Beware road safety aware – it’s a busy time of the year and lots of pedestrians on the roads
  • Sometimes gruesome costumes are frightening to small children and older adults – Be sensitive
  • Keep your phone safe in your pocket
